Freeze, Shahrukh!

An accident and the resulting injury on the sets of Dulha Mil Gaya changed the course of Shahrukh Khan’s life and career for the whole of 2009. We all know that the superstar underwent a shoulder surgery and had his arm in a sling for good many months of last year.

Now, as ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ is set to hit the screens coming Friday, we hear that the film’s makers are planning to freeze the frame in the scene where SRK got hurt. The idea seems inspired, if not filched, from the 1983 release ‘Coolie’ in which the director had paused the frame in the fight scene where Amitabh Bachchan got injured.

Big B’s injury was quite grave and the frozen moment in ‘Coolie’ became one of the memorable shots in the hit flick.

Though ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ director Mudassar Aziz deny having any plan to pause the shot where SRK got injured, sources say the frame will be frozen in the film for just a few seconds.

‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ is set to release on January 8.
