Shah Rukh Khan’s latest production venture and probably the most ambitious of them all will have a Hollywood touch to it. It is being said that the actor, who is now with his family in South Africa to attend the finals of the World Cup 2010, is leaving no stones unturned to ensure that the production of “Ra.One” is concluded following the best standards found in the industry.

If reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan has roped in two technicians from Hollywood for his sci-fi film “Ra.One”. Cinematographer Nicola Pecorini of the “Fear” and “Loathing In Las Vegas” fame will be accompanied by Jeffrey Keisler, the special effects master of the “X-Men” series. The two experts have already begun work on the making of “Ra.one” and looking at the way the production work is progressing, Shah Rukh Khan is very eagerly anticipating the release of his most scientific work to date.

Shah Rukh Khan may have caught the reins from where Hrithik Roshan left them in “Krrish”, but according to reports from the sets of the film, “Ra.One” is one of the most ambitious projects that Bollywood has ever seen, the sets and the visuals good enough to give competition to any movie from the Hollywood stable. The sci-fi effects used in the film are a treat to the eye says an insider from the production team of “Ra.One”. The film is definitely one of the most ambitious projects that India has ever seen. So is “Ra.One” on the verge of creating history in Bollywood? Though nobody can be sure now we are eagerly waiting for Shah Rukh Khan’s next.

Shahrukh Khan, the all time bollywood star to be massively interested in sports activities, all around the world, and John Abraham, who is a born sports lover, have this very common streak in them- that is, they are extremely fond of sports!

Both the bollywood hunks love their cars, bikes, and both are as much in love with soccer, as much as the other soccer crazy fans are over the world. So much for their similarities!

The similarities between these two great sports lovers also extend to the fact that both of them were very keen to attend the finals of the FIFA tournament in Johannesburg.

However, this is where the differences between them start.

Shahrukh Khan, who is already in Johannesburg with his family, and is already in full mood to welcome the finale of the FIFA ’10 world cup! Whereas, John, who is in Mumbai, had to wait for certain formalities before he could finally fly off to South Africa, for the finals.

John, who is a very good friend of Indian skipper M.S Dhoni, had to wait for his friends wedding to get over, and was planning to set off right after that. However, guess who played spoilsport?

Well, it was none other than director Vishal Bharadwaj, who wanted to shoot some last shots for his flick ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’.He wanted John to be there in Mumbai as these last minute shots are a very vital part of the flick.

Now, John, who has been spinning the ball very well whenever he gets the time, has been quite disappointed to be stuck due to his professional commitments. Yet, he does understand that his work should get first priority, and to be frank enough, John still vouches, that he can spin the ball, better than a lot many soccer fans of the world!
