Shahrukh Khan: ‘Badshah of Bollywood’….The ripe old man?

Well, it seems that the ‘Badshah of Bollywood’ is all set to don an old man’s stick!But before you all start wondering whether your adored super star has suddenly gone nuts, let’s just say that it’s only for an advertisement!
It appears that the 44 year old, who has passed on effortlessly in a much younger avatar, in his recent flicks (well apart from that brief ‘old man’ appearance in ‘Veer Zaara’), will appear as a 75 year old for the upcoming series of advertisements for Dish TV.
Well, given that it’s Shahrukh who is gonna wear that old man’s hat, there’s already a good amount of buzz surrounding his upcoming ad campaign for Dish TV.
Says the actor about his brand new look, in a chat with ‘Spicezee’, “When I was getting my make up done there was a phase where I had to go bald. I clicked my snap and send it to Gauri asking her if she would love me if I looked this way as I aged. She replied that ‘I don’t love you now how do you think I will love you then’.”
Well guys! You have seen the veteran ace Amitabh in his newest avatar as a 13 year old, now brace for an ‘old’ surprise from the Badshah!
But honestly Shahrukh, this is one ‘WISH’ we are never gonna make!

If you are not among the invitees for today’s premiere then wait till tomorrow morning. For today it is a very special occasion for the trio Amitabh, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir as they witness the special screening of Paa today.
News is that both Aamir and Shahrukh has been given 6 passes each for the screening but as per the rule more than two passes is not allowed.Shahrukh Khan made a special request to the star as his children were over enthusiastic to see Auro! He asked for 5 and Amitabh generously gave him 6! In the recent past there was a tiff among Amitabh and Shahrukh and Aamir and Shahrukh! It will be after a long time that the three will be sharing the same space.
It’s a very big event for the cast and crew of the movie as they get to see the first fruit of their hard work. We wish you all the best. And just hope that it breaks all records in the box office collection made till date!

At one point of their career they were arch rivals. But, as time progressed, SRK and Big B have become thick friends. Thanks to their new chemistry, now SRK has no qualms picking up his phone and dialing his one time rival, that too on fast dial.
The buzz doing rounds is that SRK called up Big B recently and requested to send him some extra film passes for PAA's premiere, since his kids also want to watch Big B in his new role that has already caught the fancy of the kids. The premiere of PAA is expected to be a big affair and both Shahrukh and Aamir Khan will be present at the event along with their families.
The growing friendship between SRK-Aamir and Big B is seen as the beginning of a new camp in B-Town. With Salman Khan out of this big alliance, we wonder what else the trio plans to do besides coming to pose together at the PAA's premiere.

King Khan is known for his PR skills and does it with great finesse! But recently he made media people uncomfortable with his answers! His replies were quite brash which wide opened media’s eye!
Speculations builds up whether he is in bad mood these days. It is reported that when someone asked him about Aamir denying that he had apologized to him but had actually said sorry to ShahRukh’s children, so what did ShahRukh himself have to say to that? Pat came the reply that the reporter could go and ask his children about it. Then someone asked about screen chemistry between stars, to which the answer was that just because people work together does not mean that they are in any kind of relationship. The last straw came when the actor said to some reporter that a king deserved to be treated like a king.
What can we get out of it? Is he frustrated that his competitors are growing day bay day like Ranbir, Akshay, Aamir and giving him very tough competition. Or is he really pussed off with Aamir Khan’s behavior who is playing with the word sorry! Though the two will be meeting today in the premiers. Or is he bogged down with this thought that once very good friend Salman is not in talking terms with him!
As far as his release this year, he didn’t have a marvelous year , with not so dynamic releases and backlashing by the Kolkata Knight Riders Team in the IPL.
Next year we will see the star back with the trailer for My Name is Khan will be released on 18 December 2009 with James Cameron’s Avatar. The film is slated for global release to theaters on 12 February 2010. The actor will be seen paired up with Kajol, the most sought after onscreen couple of the 90’s. We hope next year brings the best for the Khan.

Shahrukh is such a person whose spirits are never down even when he is down with injuries. King Khan has always and will always bounce back from his laid back times.
SRK’s sense of humour is not unknown to any. He continues his effervescent mood during his conversation at an interview for Bollywood News Service. He speaks for his take on women, his family, the secret behind his staying power, his friend and filmmaker Farah’s new film and his Cosmopolitan award for Fun and Fearless!
Starting with the award he won recently, he says he is neither “fearless” nor “fun” as his kids feel! He says, “When I was going for the event, my daughter said you are going to get an award for being fearless but you are so scared of mom. I found it a bit odd. Also, they think I’m very boring at home; I’m not very fun with them. But it’s sweet to get the award”. Well…that’s the funny part of this man!
It proves again how popular he is with women as this award is being decided by them. So what makes him so popular? And what he does to make them feel special? Shahrukh answers that there are no special rules to make women happy. He feels it’s the trust that works. “You do your stuff and let her do her stuff. It’s very simple I think”, says the Badshah Khan.
And who’s the woman behind his success? Gauri? “Kya peeche? Gauri walks before me on the ramp”, he laughs off!
On his stardom rule of 15years, he feels it’s the fans who made him a star. It takes honesty and hard work for making a film that really rules for all his works.
And what happened to Tees Maar Khan and Farah Khan? He said his injuries were still there and he couldn’t make Farah wait any longer. So he had to back out though he had read the script three years ago.

He might have reached the pinnacle of the showbiz industry but Shahrukh Khan hasn't forgotten the show that gave birth to him. It was 1988 Doordarshan show Fauji which gave India one of its biggest stars. Shahrukh who had played the army man Lt. Abhimanyu Rai more than two decades ago is all set to remake the serial. Sources close to SRK say that Red Chillies Entertainment will be producing the show.
This will be Shahrukh's re-entry into Television soap opera after a gap of 20 years when he last starred in the show 1989 show Circus. Apart from Fauji and Cirus Shahrukh had also acted in the soaps Dil Dariya and Doosra Keval making him India's most successful Bollywood star who migrated from the small screen. Shahrukh has also hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati and Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?
