Shah Rukh and Salman Magic!

The superstars and bosom friends may finally feature together in a potboiler, which is a remake of the Tom Cruise-starrer Jerry Maguire (1996).
If sources are to be believed, the Khans cemented their plans at Amrita Arora's birthday bash, held recently on January 31. The actors danced all night long and even rambled about their 'filmy' plans. As always, an emotional Salman hugged Shah Rukh and expressed his desire to work with the latter.
A guest who was present at the birthday party on condition of anonymity reveals, "Shah Rukh and Salman were stuck together at Amrita's party. They were talking about films, and that's when Salman told Shah Rukh that they must work together."
Interestingly, Salman's younger brother Sohail Khan was seen pitching the project to a major film studio a few days back and sources indicate that he has a ready, bound script of the Jerry Maguire remake. Salman will essay the role of Cuba Gooding Junior (who won an Oscar for the Best Actor in a Supporting Role) and Sohail wants to cast Shah Rukh as the ambitious sports agent. A reliable source informs, "Sohail has just given a proposal to UTV about remaking Jerry Maguire with Salman and Shah Rukh. But the production house is yet to take a call, because Shah Rukh is yet to confirm his presence in the film."
Shah Rukh and Salman, who were last seen in Karan Arjun, became bitter enemies after the latter barged into the sets of Chalte Chalte to meet his former sweetheart Aishwarya Rai. He disrupted the shooting and Aishwarya was eventually replaced by Rani Mukerji for the sake of convenience (and peace) on a film set. The duo again met at Farah Khan's sangeet ceremony on December 8, 2004, and that's when Salman hugged Shah Rukh and they buried the hatchet.
Well, it's clearly play time for these two, but the ball's certainly in Shah Rukh Khan's court now.
