Doesn’t anyone take a joke anymore,” asks Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan after his statement of dancing naked if his team Kolkata Knight Riders wins the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) was blown out of proportion by media.

“Read in some paper that I can be taken to court for my dancing in the buff statement at IPL. When will people develop a sense of humour,” the actor posted on his Twitter page.

“I just joked about dancing like that at IPL… obviously I won’t even if my team wins. Who does? Doesn’t anyone take a joke anymore… ha ha,” he added.

The actor didn’t even hesitate from cracking another joke on the controversy.

“…from now on I am also bathing with my clothes on, ha ha,” he said.

Shah Rukh’s team presently ranks sixth in the eight-team IPL-3.

The Malasian Grand Prix saw Shahrukh Khan Grace the occasion, much to the pleasure of the F1drivers of India.

Shahrukh was there to support Karun Chandok the driver of Hispania Cosworth, who is the man to have set the record by posting a time of 1m56.299, s. Chandok, timed the teams best qualifying position and his own record was the best till date.

Even though he qualified in the 22nd position at the grand prix, his other Indian team mate qualified 24th, with a timing of 1m57.269s.

The Force India driver Karun Chandok has been associated with Shahrukh Khan since the time they did the commercial for the Tag Heur brand of watches.

Chandok was very much pleasantly surprised by SRK’s visit and said that it was in deed a proud and happy moment for Indian racers to receive this kind of support.

After the Force India performance at the Malayasian Grand prix, the star flew to Kolkata to attend the IPL match that his team KKR was to play against the Kings X1 Punjab. What happened at the match is another story, but Shahrukh Khan’s true sportsman spirit has come forth in a very positive light.

After a number of hurdles, Shahrukh Khan will finally be working with Vidhu Vinod Chopra on a film.

Vidhu has wanted to do a film with Shahrukh for years now and each time, things didn’t fall into place. Vidhu wanted SRK in Kareeb, then in 1942 - A Love Story, and even Munnabhai MBBS and 3 Idiots but something or the other went wrong each time. They even had a fall out after SRK couldn’t do 3 Idiots.

Shahrukh, who had agreed to do 3 Idiots, pulled out of the film when Vidhu condemned his film, Paheli. Vidhu then went on to say that Shahrukh was trying to get Rajkumar Hirani to work for his production house, Red Chilies. This led to further animosity between them.

The troubles seemed to have ended when Shahrukh and Vidhu came together in June last year during the disagreement between producers-distributors and multiplex owners. According to sources, there is no hostility between them anymore and they are now on good terms.

Now that the two are friends again, it had to be marked with them doing a film together. Titled Ferrari Ki Sawaari, the film is about a young boy who aspires to play cricket at Lords after he is inspired by an Indian cricket legend’s Ferrari. It is loosely inspired by a bestseller novel.

The film had initially been offered to Aamir Khan but he turned the offer down as he wanted to work on the post-production of his home production movies – Dhobi Ghaat, Peepli Live and Delhi Belly.

Shahrukh has agreed to star in the movie. It will be directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, a longtime associate of Rajkumar Hirani.
