SRK: I don’t check out guys’ butts or eight-packs

Buzz18 offered its users a chance to ‘Ask SRK anything’. In just a few hours we received thousands of questions of which five lucky users were chosen at random. And as promised Shah Rukh answered their questions in his trademark style marked with a mix of wit sarcasm and humour. Read on to find out what SRK’s answers.

Dilip: Do you ever plan to make a movie on your and Gauri’s love story? And if you do, will Gauri act in it?

SRK: Thank you for asking me this question. I think I have included parts of my life in many of my films. And now if I film my own love story my wife will leave me. It’s not a great love story. But even though it might be an ordinary love story it seems extraordinary to us. I’d like to relate this to my upcoming film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. So no, I do not think I will make a film on my love story. As even if I did, I don’t think Gauri would act in it . She thinks I am not a good enough actor.

Kirsten: Are you ticklish?

SRK: I don’t know. I used to be ticklish. But lately nobody has tickled me. People don’t come up to me and say ‘Hi Shah Rukh’ and start tickling me. But even if I was, I wouldn’t tell you. Because my kids will find out. They are scared of me tickling them, so I don’t want them turn around at me. But Kirsten, I think I’ll ask someone to tickle me and find out.

Ashwin: Do your kids like your Rab Ne…look?

SRK: My kids think I am very Kal, which I think means uncool. My son feels my pants could have been a little higher to make me look even more uncool. My kids saw the film. My daughter cried, she felt sad for what happens to me. So yes, they do like my look but I think they prefer the six-pack abs.

Aditya: What if Rakesh Roshan approached you for Karan Arjun 2 with Salman?

SRK: I don’t think Mr Rakesh Roshan would make Karan Arjun 2. He would rather make a Krrish 3 with Hrithik Roshan. Now he has a bigger star at home. We are lesser stars. Anyways I think I am too old to play either Karan or Arjun. And I don’t think Mr Roshan would be making it either.

Dinesh: What do you think of Aamir’s eight-pack abs and John’s butt?

SRK: I have lately only been noticing Deepika, Bipasha and other heroine’s bodies and butts. I don’t check out guys’ butts or eight-packs. When I want to see a great butt or a six pack I look at mine. I am glad they (Aamir and John) have great butts and abs. But I haven’t gone down as deep as maybe you have. I feel shy looking at men.

SRK happy with audience response to Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is at the theaters near you. For those who haven’t seen the film, Shah Rukh Khan will tell us more. Shah Rukh, thank you so much for joining us…Rohit Khilnani chats with SRK.

Rohit Khilnani: Your film is out at the theatres, tell me what is the kind of a response you have received so far?

Shah Rukh: So far, I have got an excellent response. But normally when a big film comes out the response is like that but it is more special because it is in the times when it is a little weary that the people would like to come out to the theaters but it seems we have crossed that part.

Rohit Khilnani: Alright, at any time when you and Adi (Aditya Chopra) or producers were talking about that you all should not release the film at this time or was it a better thing that the people should watch something and get their minds off from the terror attack?

Shah Rukh: I think, it happened only one day - four days before the release when I started doing marketing for the film again and I called him and said - do you think we are doing the right thing. I wrote him a four line message - keeping this in mind, should we try turn it around, postpone it and whatever options I needed to give and a message came from him saying No. So, I realise that he was very clear.

Rohit Khilnani: It is believed that Aditya Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan, a combo can’t get bigger than this so was the opening up to the mark?

Shah Rukh: The morning shows obviously in Maharashtra were not as good as we would have liked but in what is called as the up country, the areas which are interiors, the morning shows were packed all over the country.

Rohit Khilnani: This time you did lose on your fans in Pakistan.

Shah Rukh: I don’t know why people say that because a film releases in Pakistan not ever simultaneously. We try to release it as fast as possible so that piracy can be avoided. We don’t hold any thing business vise personally.
