Deepika differentiates between SRK & Saif!

Deepika Padukone is flying high, because her latest film, LOVE AAJ KAL, has taken a superb start at the ticket window, both in India and Overseas. And the reason for this humungous opening is being attributed to a lot of factors. First the director Imtiaz Ali, whose previous film JAB WE MET was a super duper hit. Secondly the chartbusting music by Pritam, and last but not the least the publicity blitzkrieg.

This being Saif Ali Khan's first film, under his home banner Illuminati Films, naturally a lot of questions that Deepika was asked were related as to how Saif functioned as a producer. However one question that had Deepika stumped as well as amused was the difference between Shah Rukh Khan (under whose banner she had made her debut in OM SHANTI OM) and Saif Ali Khan as producers. But the intelligent actress (regaining her poise), answered rather diplomatically that Saif was a very active producer who took care of almost everything on the sets. And like his image, the 'Chhote Nawab' was very chilled out and she never ever saw any tension on his face. While on Shah Rukh, she said that he was very supportive and protective, and never made her feel like a newcomer. As a producer Deepika found Shah Rukh very systematic and added that she would always remain grateful that she was given such a scintillating debut through his home banner and whatever she had achieved later, was because of the mighty King Khan.

Certainly very wisely put. Here's hoping that just like OM SHANTI OM, LOVE AAJ KAL too becomes a blockbuster!
