The film is set to create a record ahead of its release early next year with Fox Star Studios reportedly buying marketing and distribution rights for around Rs 100 crore.
"I think association with Fox (Fox Star Studios) is going to be wonderful because I think it's the first Indian film of Indian origin being produced here and trying to release it the way they are doing so hopefully it will do well," Shah Rukh Khan.
The film, co-produced by Karan Johar and Khan, is set against the 9/11 terror attacks and its impact on an Indian Muslim living in the United States.
