Commonwealth Games 2010: Shahrukh Khan speaks out

Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan has come to the rescue of the Commonwealth games officials citing that it is, indeed, difficult to create a stadium and hence, he respects the work done, hitherto.
Taking to twitter, he writes, “i hope we indians realize how difficult it is to build stadiums & respect & so easy to break monuments & disrespect each others beliefs”. His comment, of course, takes a pot shot at the Ayodhya Babri Masjid verdict.
Besides, SRK, a few other celebs have voiced their concern for the CWG as well. From Arjun Rampal to Dia Mirza to Kunal Kapoor to the noodle strapped Mandira Bedi, all have done their bid at criticizing the govt. and the officials concerned.
For instance, one Shilpa Shetty lashes out, “News that things are falling apart a week before the games begin and how! Athletes are pulling out due to health and safety concerns…just makes me cringe. This could have been a great opportunity to make our country proud. Unfortunately CWG hasn’t brought us the pride and honour we thought it would.”
However, unlike others, SRK has stayed away from censuring the govt. and instead chose to respect their dilemma.
