SRK-starrer superhero flick to now shoot in the US

The much-anticipated Shah Rukh Khan superhero flick RA-1 is going to mount the sets in late December for two months in Miami, USA. Shah Rukh is changing his physical appearance in the film.

The unit is supposed to leave for Miami in the last week of December, while the shooting for the film will begin from the first week of January when SRK arrives to the US.

It is believed that this will be a two-month long shooting stint.

The film is heavy on special effects and green screens are supposed to be used in the production. Initially the film was meant to be set in Mumbai but in the later drafts, the script was changed to an overseas locale.

Karan Johar who shot for his movie Dostana in Miami suggested Shah Rukh go and shoot there.

KJo even arranged for all the necessary meetings for SRK and his production team with officials from Miami.

The film will be then shot in a month's time back in India once the Miami schedule is done. Anubhav Sinha directs the film.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he is still awaiting an acknowledgement for an SMS that he sent to Shah Rukh Khan on his birthday over a week ago.

"Nov 2 was Shah Rukh's birthday and I may have been the very early wisher to him, but he still has not acknowledged," Bachchan posted on his blog.

"(His) mobile must have crashed with the number of wishes he had continued to receive throughout the day. Maybe I should send him a reminder. (It is) most unlike him. I wished Gauri and him for their anniversary a few days back and they responded. But why not now?"

The actors have featured together in films like "Bhootnath", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham", "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" and "Mohabbatein".

Earlier, cricketer MS Dhoni had ignored Amitabh's congratulatory message when he was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award.
