SRK postponed BILLOO BARBER due to Ghai!

There have been different reasons attributed to the postponement of Shah Rukh Khan's home banner productions, BILLOO BARBER (BB), starring Irrfan Khan in the title role and SRK in an extended special appearance. Some say that Shah Rukh postponed the film as he feared a clash with Salman Khan's YUVVRAAJ. Others were of the view that the flopping of KUSELAN (remake of KADHA PARAYAMBOL of which BILLOO BARBER too is a remake) led to its delay. Well, we can only laugh at the propagators of the above illogical reasons, as these can only be termed as canards and we bring you the real reason straight from none other than Subhash Ghai, the director of YUVVRAAJ.

Says Ghai in his latest interview to a leading bi–monthly, "My distributor called me to say that he wanted to release YUVVRAAJ on November 21. So, I messaged Shah Rukh and he immediately called me back. I told him – Since BILLOO BARBER was supposed to release around Diwali, I had planned to release YUVVRAAJ three weeks later. But now I hear you are releasing your film on the same date. Shah Rukh assured that there would be no clash saying – Subhashji, your film is my film and my film is yours. And very gracefully I think he has postponed the release of the film for me."

So, that is the exact situation and in a way it has given SRK and Priyadarshan additional time to add the condiments in forms of additional dance numbers featuring top Bollywood hotties, as we have already told you.

Priyanka to sizzle for Shah Rukh

Just recently we had told you about Deepika Padukone's sizzling dance number and how it has turned out to be a superb sequence for the Shahrukh Khan home banner production, Billoo Barber. And here is something of interest for the Hindi film audiences, who love their lavish song and dance routines and believe in the adage, the more the merrier!

The Priyadarshan directed film has not one or two but three special (item) numbers by top actresses of Bollywood. As is known, Shahrukh has already shot two highlight song and dance sequences, one with his Asoka co–star, Kareena Kapoor and another one with the Om Shanti Om hottie, Deepika Padukone.

And now we have good news for the fans of the rediscovered oomph Dostana babe, Priyanka Chopra. The latest buzz is that Priyanka Chopra too has a very special number and that will be the last in its series of item numbers. The details and the schedule of the sizzler is being kept under wraps.

Well, seems like Billoo Barber is getting hotter with each passing day and the special numbers by top actresses will definitely work in bringing the audience to the theatre in hordes when the film releases on February 13.

AMRITSAR: Nasir Sultan, a 15-year-old Pakistani boy who was jailed in Punjab after illegally crossing the border to meet Bollywood star Shah Rukh
Khan, will be handed over to Pakistani authorities on Friday.

"He will be released around 11 a.m. We will hand him over to the Pakistani authorities," Amritsar's Deputy Commissioner of Police K.S. Pannu said.

The police decided to allow Nasir to cross the Attari-Wagah border, about 30 km from here, after the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) gave their clearance in the matter.

Nasir was arrested by the Border Security Force (BSF) in September from an area near the India-Pakistan border.

The boy, an avid fan of Shah Rukh Khan, said that he came from Pakistan in August to meet the superstar and to participate in a TV reality singing contest.

Nasir was lodged at the juvenile jail in Punjab's Faridkot town, about 250 km from Chandigarh. He was booked under the Foreigners Act and the Passport Act for entering India illegally.

Nasir, a Class 10 student, is a resident of Dir in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province (NWFP) that is witnessing intense fighting between the militants and security forces.

He left his house on the morning of Aug 14, saying he would return in the evening but called his parents after about a month to inform them that he was in jail in India.

A petition was filed in the Punjab and Haryana High Court in Chandigarh in November seeking the release of Nasir since he was innocent. Pakistan's human rights activist Ansar Burney had come to India to plead for his release.
