Shahrukh said that he spends time with his little friends and trains them to be tough and sporty. “Good father is personal assessment. Good actor is decided by who watch you. I am always sure of the former but the latter varies, that is why I act,” he said.

Well, we all know that family man Shahrukh is a great father. His little friends must be learnt a whale of knowledge from him.

It’s the Twitter itch that has caught up with the film stars. Now you can easily find almost every second Bollywood star on twitter. If veteran Shammi Kapoor is asking Deepika Padukone for a coffee date, Amitabh Bachchan is breaking the ice and congratulating Shahrukh Khan on crossing the mark of four lakh followers on twitterville.

He tweets, “Shah Rukh congrats! You crossed 400,000... meri gaadi thoda dheeli chal rahi hai...”

Following Big B’s tweet, a lot of fans also started congratulating SRK.

SRK responded: “hey thanx all 400,000 & more of u, soon v can start our own small country. send me the name for it tomorrow...now to rest. bye lov u all.”

Soon came the reply from Big B, “ShahRukh .. how about - “KINGDOM”, taking up from your own popular and deserving epithet of KING !!

To which Shahrukh replied, “oops how dare i, didnt realise u would be online & reading my pretentious attempts to create a kingdom. this is embarrassing.”

SRK in turn suggested a name for Big B’s kingdom.

“(I) have a name for your World. The United states of Great Bachchania, thanx for letting us be a part of it sir. love & health to u,” he tweeted.

Now with 4-lakh followers SRK is the top Indian celeb in the Twitter world. However it’s the pop singer Britney Spears who has 4,955,768 followers, maximum for anyone on Twitter.

My Name is Khan conquered the box office when it was released in cinemas in February 2010. It raked in close to Rs 735 million domestically.

Now it is all set to sweep the small screen thanks to it being telecast for a two week window in from 27 May onwards on all major DTH platforms in the country – Tata Sky, Dish TV, Sun Direct, Airtel Digital TV, Videocon D2H and Big TV.

Says Fox Star Studios CEO Vijay Singh: “Allowing the film to be put on DTH platforms was part of our ongoing strategy to monetise the film.”

My Name is Khan is being made available to subscribers by all the DTH players at a sticker price of Rs 50 a view.

Sources indicate that Fox Star has struck revenue share deals with the DTH providers. Says Bharat Business Channel CEO Anil Khera: “The hit rate for films on demand is normally about 6 per cent. That is about 6 per cent of viewers in urban areas normally subscribe to a movie. For rural areas it is lower at about 3-4 per cent.”

Shah Rukh Khan’s dream project “Ra.One” might be taking some time on the technical front due to its unusual theme, but Arjun Rampal feels if all goes well, the sci-fi thriller will be “path-breaking”.

Arjun plays a villain in the Anubhav Sinha directed movie.

“We have been working very hard to bring a vision together. I think Shah Rukh is very clear about his vision, so is Anubhav. We are working as a team to achieve it. And if we achieve it, it would be a path-breaking movie,” Arjun told IANS.

The films is about a superhero who can freeze electricity and the actor says it will appeal to children.

“‘Ra.One’ is a very ambitious project. It’s a film that kids will enjoy for sure. It’s not only for kids but the idea is also to bring action to a different level. It’s hugely experimental,” he said.

Kareena Kapoor plays the female lead in it.
