Spotted! Shahrukh Khan at Mumbai airport, back from his trip to Berlin where he was filming for Don 2 - The Chase Continues that hits theaters in December next year.

The star-studded team has been working in Berlin for a few weeks and fans have been following the cast through its tweets and pics.

The Don himself, Shahrukh Khan, arrived on the set in Berlin a few weeks ago and was soon joined by his co-star Priyanka Chopra, Kunal Kapoor, Boman Irani and Lara Dutta. Don 2 stars Shahrukh Khan as Don, nothing new there, Priyanka Chopra as Roma, Boman Irani as Vardhaan and Om Puri as Mallik.

Hrithik recently went to Berlin. According to Mid Day, he is not there to celebrate Shah Rukh's birthday as is being widely speculated, but to shoot a cameo in Don 2.

"Don 2 has highly specialized and daring stunts performed by Shah Rukh and Duggu might be seen in a stunt or two himself. He will be in Berlin for a week," a source tells Mid Day.

Hrithk and his wife Sussanne are close to Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri.

Hrithik is also very close to Don 2 producer Farhan Akhtar having worked with him earlier in Lakshya. MNIK producer and family friend Karan Johar will also attend the film's screening and join in the birthday festivities.

Shahrukh Khan: The camera smash up in Berlin!

Now, film stars and the camera are like bread and butter, one just can’t’ do without the other, so to speak.

However, there are times when the camera does get to jam up or be broken up completely, for whatever reason, but when it comes to SRK, he is one star, who would never do a thing like destroying the camera, come what may! But, when it comes to authentic film shoots, it is indeed SRK,who simply takes the cake, which he proved recently, while in Berlin, shooting for Farhan Akhtar’s film, ‘Don2’.Sadly, Shahrukh Khan, recently smashed into a camera, completely breaking it into pieces!

Reports are abuzz that while shooting for’Don2’,Shahrukh was in a car,on the driver’s seat, with Priyanka’s body double beside him, as it was a full on action sequence. Now, as SRK, drove past into the area, he somehow lost control, and reports are that he rammed into the camera, completely shattering it to pieces.

This scared the daylights, out of the entire team! However, as SRK got down from the smashed car, he apologized profusely, and also offered to pay for the damaged equipment, which kind of eased things a bit there.

Then, as the director, gave the crew a brief break to come back to normal, there seemed to be a sigh of relief from one and all, that no one was injured, and the fact that even SRK and Piggy chop’s body double were not much hurt, was also considered a big blessing, otherwise, the entire cast and crew would have to waste days in a foreign land, without any work to do.

Shahrukh Khan wants to date all the beauties in Berlin

The King Khan is seen shooting for Don 2 in Berlin lately on his 20th marriage anniversary. The city of Berlin was going gaga over a glimpse of SRK. Indeed a large number of fan following he has in Germany! Being an Indo-German production is supposed to be shot at different locations in the city like Brandenburg Gate, the Olympia Stadium, The Gandarmen Market and the East Side Gallery. Shahrukh Khan so much impressed by the crowd in the city that he promised even to date all the beautiful ladies of Berlin.

Done 2 like the previous Don has an all evanescent character of Shahrukh Khan and this time he will be wanted by the police of 132 countries as against the 11 countries. Don 2 retains the earlier star
cast of Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and included some new names like Lara Dutta, Sameera Reddy and Kunal Kapoor. The movie is sure to have more devastating and deadlier stunts and chases. Talking about his character in Don2 SRK stated, “Don is very, very beautiful behind the dark, mean exterior and you just have to get to know him.” The film is supposed to get released in 2011.

It is believed to be a tight schedule for the entire cast and crew to shoot in Berlin as Farhan wanted to shoot the entire film in 45 days. However, it’s not Farhan who was mesmerized by the city’s charm but SRK cant stop praising the beauty and ambience of the city. "It is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen…. I have been here for two weeks and I don't feel I am working," SRK added

More of Shahrukh Khan is definitely yet to come when fans are expected in the city on Nov 2 when the actor celebrates his birthday in the German capital. With all this and more Don 2 is sure to begin a new affair between Bollywood and Berlin and hopefully will encourage more and more Indians to visit the beautiful city.

Shahrukh and Gauri Khan Pose for D-Décor Ad

Glamorous couple Shahrukh Khan and his wifey Gauri Khan can easily sell furniture with their good looks and classy style.

Shahrukh and Gauri do look great together, so why not spend some time together on a photo shoot to share their happiness and joy with others, all the while making some extra cash endorsing a brand they like?

Interior design company D- Décor got lucky and roped in King Khan and his belle for this campaign! The Bollywood superstar brought wifey along to the photo shoot and took to Twitter to tell fans and followers what was going on:

"At the shoot with gauri, d decor furnishings were the hero & gauri the heroine.first time enjoyed benefits of being a sidekick on set ha ha."

The campaign was shot by photographer Avinash Gowariker and we think SRK and Gauri look lovely, but maybe a bit boring? What do you think of Shahrukh's and Gauri's latest D- Décor ad? Classy and nice or boring and without spice?

Shahrukh thanks Lara Dutta

Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan displayed his feeling of concern to the B-town lovely Lara Dutta and the lass was extremely delighted.

Everybody knows that SRK never forgets those who give their helping hand and is famous for his repays which comes with extra care and affection. Lara experienced it recently when she came to know that it was on SRK’s recommendation that she got casted in ‘Don 2’.

SRK had tough time during the casting of ‘Billu’ where all the B-town lovelies refused King Khan at point blank for the role which Lara agreed. Now in ‘Don 2’ Lara will be essaying the role which Eesha Koppikar did in the first installment.

SRK may not be in good terms with his jigris (read close pals) Farah, Ritesh but the Baadshah has not turned sour with this….. SRK remains the same loving caring helping Khan who never forgets and ignores those helping hands.

SRK's prediction for Berlin

Shah Rukh Khan, who is filming his latest action movie Don 2 in Berlin, predicted Friday that the film's success would encourage millions of Indians to visit the German capital.

"You will have problems getting rid of all the Indians again," Khan joked at a press conference.

"We are proud that we have discovered Berlin for Indians," the Bollywood star said, adding the city could supplant Paris and London as favourite European destinations.

The action thriller, which also showcases Indian stars Priyanka Chopra and Boman Irani, features famous Berlin landmarks - including a scene in which Khan appears to dive 125 metres from a building near Berlin's TV tower.

SRK alone on 20th wedding anniversary!

Being a busy actor comes with a price. And actor Shah Rukh Khan is being made to pay a huge one!

October 25 marks 20 years of matrimonial union for Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, but SRK will be alone in Berlin (he's there to shoot for Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 2') while wife Gauri will be in Mumbai on the special day. As they compromise on this milestone celebration, Gauri plans to make up for it on the Badshah's birthday — November 2.

"Even his birthday isn't totally devoid of work. There's nothing unusual about that. He's going to be in Rome for the screening of 'My Name Is Khan' at the international film festival there. But I'm sure his family will ensure that they make it special for him. Gauri and the kids are going to be flying down to Italy. Even Karan Johar, who is flying there for the screening, will contribute to the celebrations. The gang will then go to Berlin, where Gauri and Karan are planning to throw a party. Not many of the film fraternity would be there. So it'll be a comparatively quiet celebration with family, Karan, the cast and crew of Don 2," says a close friend of the actor's, who is speculating that there'll be a big bash with much fanfare when SRK returns to Mumbai.

Three cheers for the Khan who'll turn another year older soon, complete 20 years of marriage and sees his film MNIK release in all theatres across Italy - a first for any Hindi movie!

Bollywood fans descend on Berlin for Shahrukh, Priyanka shoot

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan reveals he dreams of dating as many girls as possible while shooting here for "Don 2". Priyanka Chopra says she would love to walk around the streets of Berlin she finds so full of amazing energy. Film director and actor Farhan Akhtar said he is crazy about the architecture of the city.

They made these points at a press conference held Friday where Shah Rukh repeated 'achtung' (careful) and 'danke' (thanks) and said that Berlin was chosen as location for "Don 2" because the film demanded a more realistic backdrop, unlike some of his other films shot in more fairy tale like environments of countries like Switzerland.

The making of "Don 2" opens a new chapter in the ongoing love affair between Bollywood and Berlin. "Don 2" is being made with financial support from the Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg. The Indo-German production is being shot in the German capital and hundreds of Bollywood fans from around Europe have descended on the city.

The entire crew and cast of "Don 2" are in the German capital to film for about 50 days at a cost of more than six million euros.

The stars began shooting two weeks ago at several famous landmarks in the city like the great Cathedral, and the car chase took the crew through the streets around Checkpoint Charley.

Shah Rukh's character in "Don 2" is of a bad man who is very lovable.

German actor Florian Lukas is relieved that he does not have to dance in the film but is very proud to be acting in an Indian film and excited about his role in "Don 2".

More and more Indian films have been screened at European film festivals in recent times, particularly at the Berlinale, the most popular of all the film festivals held around the world. Dorothee Wenner, Berlinale's curator for Asian and African cinema, is delighted that Berlin promises not just to be a locale in "Don 2" but is treated as a character.

Wenner is responsible for first inviting Shah Rukh Khan to the Berlinale in 2007 when "Om Shanti Om" was screened here. "My Name is Khan" was showcased at the Berlinale 2010.

More Shah Rukh Khan fans are expected in the city Nov 2 when the actor celebrates his birthday in the German capital.

While Shah Rukh has requested a three-day break from his producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar to visit Rome for the film festival and celebrate his birthday with his family, KJo is taking a short break from shooting his TV show Koffee With Karan 3 to be there. Later, the group will travel back to Berlin together where KJo and Gauri have planned a party with close friends (the cast and crew of Don 2).

Karan confirms, "We are excited that MNIK will be shown at the international film festival in Rome. Post-November, the film will be released in theatres across Italy for the first time. After the screening, all of us will fly down to Berlin to bring in Shah Rukh's birthday. While I will leave after that to spend Diwali with my mom in India, Gauri and the kids will stay back in Berlin to celebrate Diwali with Shah Rukh."

What gift has he planned for SRK? He laughs, "Haven't decided as yet. What can I give a man like Shah Rukh barring unconditional love?" And of course the fact that MNIK is the Hindi film which has grossed the most internationally, till now. According to trade circles, MNIK has grossed over 22 million US dollars.

Karan adds, "When I was making it, I knew it was a global film which had a humanitarian message that would penetrate deep and wide and prick many people's conscience. I am gratified that it has achieved that."

Shahrukh Khan has been shooting for 'Don 2' in Berlin for many days now.

Recently, he uploaded a picture online showing how tall is the building from where he has to jump for one of the sequences in the film. "Had done the base jump from this building...eh the tall one on the left...now feeling scared," was his tagline a few days ago.

What's next, Khan has changed his name, thanks to Piggy Chops, who made him gorge on Japanese cuisine, " priyanka introduced me to sushi. got to see so many varieties of cold fish on a cold nite. feeling japanese. my new name now is wong khan," Khan wrote online. Wonder what his next film's title would be!

'Frosty atmosphere' on set of 'Don 2'

The atmosphere between Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra is reportedly “frosty” on the set of Don 2 in Berlin.

Chopra is reprising her role as leading lady opposite Shah Rukh Khan, while Dutta is to portray Anita, originally played by Eesha Kophika in Don.

NDTV qoutes a source as saying: "The two barely exchanged hellos with frosty smiles before directing their warmth to Shahrukh and director Farhan Akhtar."

The Bollywood actresses were crowned Miss Universe and Miss World respectively in 2002 and starred together in the 2003 hit Andaaz.

A friend of Chopra’s expressed concern for the effect the atmosphere would have on her after criticism of her latest role in Anjaana Anjaani.

"She left in a depressed frame of mind. The last thing she needs in Berlin is a stressful ambiance," they said.

Shahrukh Khan paid tribute in film Break Ke Baad

Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan has followers from in an out of industry. The recent addition to this list are young actors Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone. Kunal Kohli’s upcoming film Break Ke Baad starring Imran and Deepika will pay tribute to SRK. Imran essays the role of a theater owner in the Danish Aslam directed romantic comedy. Deepika will be seen as an aspiring actress. Both are childhood friends in the movie and they will eventually fall in love at a very young age but will break up later.

The film will deal with their post break-up blues and how they manage to revive their relationship regardless of being in two different geographical locations. Kohli was quoted saying that Imran will enact the signature steps of Shahrukh in the title track ‘Dooriyan’. He will be shown as a SRK fan, the popular king of romance. Imran was seen imitating Salman Khan in his debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

Deepika will be seen claiming that she is Shahrukh Khan in one of the scenes when she is drunk. Deepika debuted in Bollywood starring opposite SRK in Om Shanti Om in 2007.

Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta: Shahrukh Khan Caught In The Jittery Road For ‘Don 2’

Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta have finally met in Berlin, and how! Recently, Priyanka Chopra, the hot sexy gal of B town, touched Berlin and landed bang on to the sets of Ritesh Sidhwani’s ‘Don 2’,directed by Farhan Akhtar, where the rest of the cast and crew had already assembled much before.

Reportedly, the two hotties, Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta hardly could be called friends at the moment, as the fact is that as Priyanka walked in to the sets of the film, both of them just barely managed to exchange a thin line, that could be given an award for the frostiest smiles ever, and then Priyanka moved on to gel with the other members of the cast and crew, and greeted Shahrukh Khan with the friendliest warmest greeting!

Well, so to speak, Lara had reached Berlin, where the shoot is taking place a week before and thus she seemed quite comfortable with the members of the film unit, however, Priyanka, who had to stay back in Mumbai due to an ad shoot, was a tad bit late in joining them.
However, since Lara and Priyanka have met after a gap of almost eight years(they had worked in ‘Andaaz’ together in 2002,being a debut film for both of them),both were slightly awkward in their stance, but hope fully they do start gelling well as time passes.

But, the question is, how on earth will Shahrukh manage the cold vibes between both his leading actresses? Gossip columns are rife with SRK being caught on the jittery road for ‘Don 2’, thanks to the two leading ladies!

But, let’s hope SRK manages to create some sort of warmth with his cool dude attitude, and thus create an atmosphere of a happy ambience on the sets of ‘Don 2’,otherwise it will be difficult to decide which is more biting, the cold winds in Berlin, or the cold vibes flying between Priyanka and Lara?

Exclusive Photo: Shahrukh Khan Jumps From 300-ft in Don 2

Shah Rukh Khan jumped from the roof of the Park Inn Hotel on the Alexanderplatz in Berlin on the second day of filming of Don 2 in the city on October 12.

In this scene, Shahrukh Khan is being chased by gangsters and his only way out is to jump from the roof.

A stuntman jumped for him to begin with, for the long shots, before Shah Rukh made the plunge himself for a close up.

Despite the cables and pulleys that made the jump safe for Shah Rukh, the experience must have been both frightening and exhilarating for the 44-year-old actor, a consummate artiste and one of Bollywood's most popular stars.

Not many of us can even dare to look down from 30-ft, let alone jump from 300-ft.

Following the jump, Shah Rukh shared the experience with his Twitter fans.

"Just did a over 300 feet base jump for Don...cos u all make me believe i can fly. Time to tell kids about the birds and the bees...ha ha.

"my jump was last shot of day. want to thank my duplicate & action team, to do it before me for wide shots & make me feel confident about it."

"in berlin. good to see it in the day time. always been in & out during berlinale otherwise. missing home & kids." Shah Rukh tweeted on October 10.

A 50 day schedule is planned in the city. The film will be shot in "prominent places in the city," but details of the locales are not being revealed to preclude fan frenzy, such is Shah Rukh's popularity in the German capital.

The film is scheduled for release in theatres on December 23, 2011.

SRK starrer ‘Don 2’ gets 3 million Euros cover

SRK’s much anticipated sequel ‘Don 2’ is enjoying a maximum rebate from the German Government.

According to a close hand the rebate is whooping 3 million euros for the Badshah of Bollywood starrer, as SRK is immensely popular in Germany and Europe. Germany now wants to make Bollywood as its prime choice and wants to win over its current favorites England, Switzerland in Europe.

The unit of Don 2 is in Berlin where the major chunk of the film will be canned. Lara Dutta has joined and Priyanka Chopra is likely to join shortly followed by the Badshah himself Shahrukh Khan.

Shah Rukh: Karan’s Involvement In ‘Ra. 1′, A Lucky Charm

A few weeks back, when Karan Johar was summoned by Shah Rukh Khan for the London shoot of his most ambitious film till date, ‘Ra. 1′, the superstar took a smart step. He let the news go from him only rather than it reaching down to media through ’sources’. Tweets floated around and it was announced to the world that Shah Rukh had made a special request to Karan to direct a few scenes for ‘Ra. 1′.

On his part, Shah Rukh did pre-empt the entire turn of events and promptly announced that Karan’s arrival in London for the shooting of ‘Ra. 1′ was nothing more than just a good luck charm. In any case, Bollywood is known for its superstitions and when a film is rumoured to be carrying a price tag of 175 crores, it is but natural to have all the good luck charm to come in handy.

“This is the reason why even though many felt that (director) Anubhav (Sinha) may have been heartbroken due to someone else stepping in and calling the shots, despite for a short duration, the fact is that Karan’s visit actually turned out to be short and sweet. Eventually qualifying as a friendly gesture more than anything else, it did lead to a few reading between the words but none of it mapped to the kind of scale that would have led to any widespread controversy”, comments an observer who has been closely following the turn of events.

Since Karan has been a close friend and associate for over a decade and a half now and has contributed to some of his biggest hits like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ and now ‘My Name Is Khan’ with him, it was imperative that he was there alongside him when ‘Ra. 1′ is being filmed. On his part, Karan doesn’t deny the fact that he did eventually direct a brief portion of the film.

“There was nothing to hide about it though. All Shah Rukh wanted me to do was to can a couple of shots for good luck charm. It wasn’t as if he asked Anubhav to sit aside and gave me the entire control instead. It doesn’t work that way”, says Karan who rightly believes that it is hardly an incident that deserves much attention.

Well, one tends to believe that Anubhav Sinha feels so as well. With sci-fi flick ‘Robot’ already turning on the heat, there is far more emphasis which is expected to be made on ‘Ra. 1′ now. Also starring Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, ‘Ra. 1′ is expected to release in Summer 2011.
