Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar were known as rivals once upon a time but the duo seems to have moved on ever since.

Just when reports of Aamir ignoring Shah Rukh in London were doing the rounds, we heard of Akki coming to SRK’s rescue!

Akshay Kumar revealed about his bonding with SRK on a social networking site and so did Shah Rukh..

“I flew back to London to join my wife and son for our summer holidays and I met Shah Rukh Khan on my flight! It was nice to know Shah Rukh feels as grateful as I am for being a part of our industry and how lucky we are... It’s amazing I managed to chat more with my work mates on a flight than I do in the entire year” revealed Akshay.

While Shah Rukh described his Akki experience by saying, “I had Akshay Kumar for company on flight. Was wonderful to be with him after so long. Laughed for hours. We always do whenever we meet. Happiness to him.”

Aamir Khan, we wonder what you would do, had you been on that flight too! Bond with Akshay and snub SRK or vice versa! Phew...superstars all!

Anubhav needs Shah Rukh's consent

When you have Shah Rukh Khan in your film and a lot of money riding on it, it’s natural that expectations are high. Though Anubhav Sinha (director of Dus and Tum Bin) has taken on Shah Rukh’s home production Ra.One, he is apparently turning to Shah Rukh for approval after every take. This means that Shah Rukh is effectively calling the shots.

A source from the unit says, “After every shot, Anubhav looks at Shah Rukh for approval. Shah Rukh tries to look away a bit, not wanting to interfere. But Anubhav is too awed by Shah Rukh’s presence on the set. He doesn’t okay any scene until Shah Rukh says so. He calls Shah Rukh and says, ‘Sir, dekh lo, theek hai ya nahi’.”

We hear that Anubhav even asks Shah Rukh if he would like another take or not. “The number of takes in almost every scene depend on what Shah Rukh feels after he sees, or rather is made to see, the scene on the monitor,” adds the source.

We don’t know if Shah Rukh is enjoying this. But anyway, he probably isn’t complaining as Ra.One is his company’s most ambitious and expensive project till date.

Repeated calls and a text message to Anubhav were unanswered.

SRK wants 'lucky' Karan for his movie 'Ra.One'

He's asked KJo to shoot a few scenes for 'Ra.One' for luck

Anubhav Sinha seems to be doing a fine job of directing sci-fi film 'Ra.One', but actor-producer Shah Rukh Khan still wants his close friend Karan Johar to take some shots to bring in good luck.

"Come to London and shoot a few shots for 'Ra.One' for luck," Shah Rukh said to Karan on Twitter.

Karan, who directed his films with Shah Rukh in the lead, replied: "Will arrive for sure bhai (brother)... though my action and sci-fi skills are highly questionable!"

In fact, Karan is producing the 'Agneepath' remake but he won't be behind the megaphone for the movie as he doubts his capability of directing an action film.

SRK the Big B’s chief guest for 'Raavan'

Bollywood Badshah SRK is finally making amends with the iconic Big B.

First he refused the remake of the bachchan starrer ‘Satte Pe Satta’ and now its being heard that Badshah Khan has accepted the offer from Big B to attend the premiere of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer ‘Raavan’, which will be held in London tomorrow (16th June).

The premiere will be held at 7 pm at British Film Institute, South Bank.

As reported, the Bachchan family and the entire team of ‘Ravan’ will be present for the premiere and soon after, the team will hit back to India for its audience response on Friday 18th of this month.

Shahrukh Khan off to London

After shooting tirelessly for his home production Ra.One in the last few weeks, Shahrukh Khan is now taking a break from work.

Along with his two kids and lovely wife Gauri, the superstar has flown to London where he will first attend the premiere of Raavan on June 16. Just a few days back, he tweeted about how excited he was to watch Raavan.

And after the premiere, SRK will travel to Rome (Italy) and Istanbul (Turkey) for the holiday. He will also catch a few matches at the ongoing FIFA world in South Africa. In between his travelling he’ll also do some important shoots.

Before setting off on his long journey, Shahrukh was obviously thrilled, for he tweeted: “Now off to london...somehow whichever place i leave and go...i long for it. Vinod chopra gave me a warm send off (sic).”

Every year SRK takes his kids on a holiday during their school break in June.

Shahrukh Khan to attend 'Ravaan' London premiere

If tweets are to be believed, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is in London for the shooting of his home production “Ra.One”, might be attending the London premiere of Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai starrer “Raavan” June 16 with his wife Gauri and kids.

“Shah Rukh, I believe Abhishek spoke to you about the premiere in London and you, Gauri and the kids (are) all coming… Wonderful! See you there,” Big B, Abhishek’s father, posted on his Twitter homepage Sunday.

Directed by Mani Ratnam, “Raavan” is a bilingual and also stars Tamil superstar Vikram, who makes his Bollywood debut with the Hindi version. It is releasing June 18 worldwide.

‘Ra.One’ heads to shoot London

SRK’s superhero home production ‘Ra.One’ has completed its shooting schedule in India and is heading to overseas for its remaining shoot.

According to the close hands in production, now only the photo shoot remains in India.

Rest of the shooting will now happen in London.

The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan as superman with Kareena Kapoor as his wife and Arjun Ramphal as the bad guy.

The film is slated for a year-end release.
