Shah Rukh Khan's film sets a record of sorts for number of cameras used for shooting a single frame

Shah Rukh Khan is pulling out all the stops when it comes to his home production Ra.One. The actor has set a record of sorts, using as many as 23 cameras to light up a single frame.

The film is being shot at Mumbai studio, Filmistan. They are currently shooting on a set of a local train that has been created in a suburban studio. The cameras have been mounted in the front of the train and also at the doors.

A source says, "The team was wondering how they would manage to shoot on an actual train, when SRK suggested they build a dummy train and shoot on it. The art directors got busy and built a train that looked exactly like the real model." The train sequence is supposed to be an important part of the movie with major chase and action scenes.

The cast and crew of this superhero flick are working round the clock to complete their schedule before rains hit the city.

King Khan also plans to modify his character G.One's suit, as his kids didn't like it. The actor has been taking lot of inputs from his kids - Aryan and Suhana as he feels that their age group is the core target audience for his next home production.

Shahrukh Khan: The call of a true friend!

Shahrukh Khan might be the king of bollywood, but when it is time for him to take certain important decisions; he always has a very trustworthy friend to rely on.

Well, the superstar Shahrukh has always been a special friend of director Karan Johar, and vice versa. So, both of them just don’t hesitate to give or ask for suggestions from each other.

Thus, overall we shall see an amalgamation of all the flavors of a bollywood flick, in the forth coming ‘RA I’. Just wait for its release, that’s it!

Fathers should spend more quality time with kids, advises Shahrukh

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, who is a doting father to his children Aryan and Suhana, feels parents should spend more quality time with their kids. “Each time I am away from home for long I make sure that on return I have spent enough time and catch up with my children. I am sure a lot of fathers today go through this guilt as they may have missed seeing their child grow,” said the actor-producer who recently shot for toothpaste commercial where he plays a loving father. “In most cases, fathers never realise this as they have been busy with work, office meetings, deals and catching up with friends that they tend to miss out on smaller but important moments of their child’s growing years. Children are impressionable. So, parenting is not about you, your feelings, or your thoughts on how the child should develop. Instead it is about the person your child is and can be. While most of us did not figure out what we wanted to be until we were older, a lot of us had ideas about the types of careers, the type of person and what we want out of life as we grew up,” the 44-year-old star said.

Being a parent is the greatest joy for SRK and playing the perfect father is the best role ever, he said. “I am the actor-entertainer, but it is definitely my children that offer unconditional love and bring entertainment and joy to my life,” he said. agencies

Shahrukh Khan thinks he is a shy person

A man like Shahrukh Khan, who has ruled the film industry for more than 15 years now, is expected to be very confident. After all, we have seen him hosting several shows, events, award functions and giving lots of interviews.

But, here’s a shocker coming for all of you die hard SRK fans. King Khan has twitted that he is shy in the real life. The tweet read, “I am quite normal in front of a camera. As long as the camera is between me and the world I am fine. But, I am shy, when there is no wall of camera.”

This revelation is unbelievable, as he has been seen in ‘Living With A Superstar’, where he had been very open about his personal life. His personal life was always accessible.

Now, who would have thought that the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’, who has never failed to entertain us with his witty comments and great sense of humour, would be a shy person?

Shahrukh Khan has an 'awful day'

Some days things are just not the way one wants them. Recently, actor Shahrukh Khan too had a terrible day and he was really irritated by it (yes, he sounded like one).

“Awful day at shoot...acted badly...did awful action...and gave suggestions without understanding them myself. Delayed the shoot,” scribbles SRK on Twitter.

Shahrukh is talking about the shooting of Ra.One his home production. And he can’t take things lightly with this superhero flick that is being made on a mammoth scale. One bad day of shoot also incurs the production cost. But the optimistic Khan soon realizes there is a better tomorrow.

“Everybody believes tomorrow will be better... I hope everybody is right. I think I should just forget it...move on…shower...feed my face, watch a film....” tweets SRK.

I don't make movies for money, says SRK

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, currently busy with his home production “Ra.One”, says he doesn't make movies to earn money anymore.

“My mantra for work changed five or seven years ago, I think. Now I don't make movies to make money...I make money to make movies,” Shah Rukh posted on his Twitter page.

The 44-year-old has produced films like “Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani”, “Chalte Chalte”, “Main Hoon Na” and “Om Shanti Om”.

Shahrukh to board a local train

Shah Rukh Khan is in Goa shooting for his most ambitious film Ra.One. SRK is leaving no stones unturned to put the best in the film and now that director Anubhav Sinha wants to shoot in a local train he is getting one made.

He had the option of shooting at real sites but permissions and timings would be a problem, considering all that SRK got his art directors to build a brand new train for the movie.

It did take some extra effort for getting the train ready but it was certainly worth it. Now the team can shoot whenever they want as it looks as good as the real train.

The cast and crew of Shahrukh Khan’s home production Ra.One will be licking their fingers during the meal breaks while shooting the film in London. For they will be served food especially delivered from the chain of restaurants owned by Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra in London.

Shahrukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor and the unit of Ra.One is ready to embark on the London shooting schedule and the contract for supplying Indian food to the cast and crew has been given to the restaurants of Shilpa and her hubby.

Several mouth watering delicacies will be served to the shooting unit, including the chicken curry that Shilpa made famous during her stay in Big Brother’s house in London.

We hear that Shahrukh insisted on providing the best Indian food to the crew during the London schedule and since he knows Shilpa quite well (they’ve worked together in Baazigar and own stakes in different IPL teams), he and his production team finalized food contract with Shilpa’s restaurants.

Shahrukh Khan to skip IIFA 2010

Actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was supposed to be the star attraction at this year’s IIFA awards in Colombo from June 3-5, has decided to give the event a miss.

“I don’t think I will be able to come for IIFA…too much work here, will miss Colombo,” SRK tweeted. Apart from upping the function’s star power, SRK was also supposed to captain the Bollywood team in a friendly cricket match against the Sri Lankan team.

Sabbas Joseph of Wizcraft, the show’s organisers, said, “Stars have their commitments. Hrithik Roshan will now be the captain,” SRK’s absence is another blow to the event after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and hubby Abhishek announced that they won’t be attending the gala, usually touted as a Bachchan family affair. Amitabh Bachchan will only make a fleeting appearance.
