Exclusive: Shahrukh Khan Joins Twitter

This past decade has definitely been one with great technological advances and an increase in social networking. Many artists initially reached out to fans via MySpace, sharing music and pictures. Then there was a switch to Facebook. Most recently we have been following our favorite singers, directors, producers, and designers via Twitter. We are able to access Twitter on our phones and computers; therefore, we are all able to update each other on our daily activities.

Well King Khan is ready to join the trend as he has just joined Twitter under the name "iamsrk". Shahrukh Khan attends India's biggest parties, travels the world, and is now promoting his upcoming film "My Name Is Khan," which also stars Kajol. This star has plenty to tweet about; we just hope he keeps us in the loop.

Mr. Khan's first tweet was, "hi everyone. being extremely shy i never thought i would be here. but my friend @kjohar25 insisted that I should learn to share my life." Director, Producer, and friend Karan Johar was able to convince Shahrukh to join his pals Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, and Ritesh Deshmukh on Twitter.
