The Rajasthan High Court today asked a Kota court to drop the proceedings against filmstar Shahrukh Khan in a case of alleged use of objectionable language against lawyers' community in the film 'Raamjaane' in 1998.

The order was pronounced by a single judge bench of the court which held that the charges were not sustainable against the actor.

Shahrukh, Juhi Chawla and proprietors Vinayak Films were charged with using objectionable language for the lawyers in their film after advocates of Kota had filed an FIR against the trio in 1998.

The court also directed Juhi and Vinayak Films to appear before ACJM Court in Kota and apply fr their discharge in the case.
