Amitabh Bachchan Removes Shahrukh Khan from Twitter!

Oh-oh! Do we smell trouble in Twitterland? After following each other dutifully and tweeting friendly messages back and forth, Amitabh Bachchan suddenly stopped following his friend and prominent B-town colleague Shahrukh Khan! What went wrong? Did SRK say something to upset Big B? Did King Khan get a role in a movie that Bachchan Senior was hoping to bag? No, guess again!

The only thing that went wrong when Big B stopped following SRK out of the blue was his technical skills! Apparently the B-town big shot never meant to remove King Khan from his Twitter feed, but accidently hit the delete button! Oops!
"Pressed wrong button ... Shah Rukh gone off my 'following' list ... how do I get him back ...?" Big B tweeted in despair. But with 156,087 followers and fans to help him out, it didn't take long before all online ties between the two actors were restored and everything was back to normal! Phew!

Bollywood was all abuzz as Big B signed on and actors from Ritesh Deshmukh to Sophie Choudry immediately welcomed the veteran B-town star to the Twitter community. "Ladies and gentlemen. HE IS HERE!!! BigB in da house!!!! @srbachchan welcome Pa. Show him the love tweeps!!" Abhishek Bachchan tweeted as soon as his dad joined.

"A warm welcome to my GENIUS @srbachchan - Woh jahan khade hote hain- line wahin se shuru hoti hai," said Amitabh's Aladin co-star Ritesh. "R u ready to welcome the Shahenshah?!! The legend, the most charasmatic man in the world, the God of movies is here! Pls welcome @srbachchan," tweeted Sophie Choudry.

Well now Big B can continue to follow Karan Johar, Shammi Kapoor, Suhel Seth, his son Abhishek and Shahrukh Khan in peace. Let's hope that he doesn't delete any of the other six people he follows, it can easily cause diplomatic problems!

Bollywood's two of the biggest stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are in a race of pictures on Twitter.

On Sunday around 8pm Amitabh Bachchan posted a picture of how his fans wait to catch a glimpse of their favourite star and he wrote: "Someone wanted to see what happens on Sundays at Jalsa. Here is a previous Sunday."

Then within a couple of hours Shah Rukh Khan posted: "People come to share love on Sundays and take my pictures. This time I thought I will take theirs .Thanks all."

The two superstars have been following each other's tweets ever since Big B joined the micro blogging site.

SRK welcomed Bachchan saying: "You are the superest duperest awaited human on the twitter world." to this Bachchan replied: "ShahRukh! Finally managed to get this thing right. Found you and after pressing endless buttons here I am "

But this bonhomie has not dampened the zeal to dominate cyber space. Bachchan is aware that he is far behind SRK who has over 400,000 followers on Twitter and admitted as much in one of his tweets. "Shah Rukh congrats! You crossed 400,000. Meri gaadi thoda dheeli chal rahi hai."

With Shah Rukh and Bachchan now trying to outdo each other on Twitter, it is their fans who stand to gain the most as the two actors give unprecedented insights into their personal lives.

The actor is finding it hard to play the role of a superhero for the film and perform risky stunts because of the problem.

Shahrukh Khan: Life is occasionally a bed of roses!

The life of a celebrity is definitely not a bed of roses and fame has its own ugly side.

Celebrities have often complained how people notice only the ultra glamorous life they lead and the amount of name and fame they enjoy, but fail to see the enormous effort they put in to look good and deal with public pressure.

Well we think that their complaint is true to something. Half the time we don’t get to know the amount of hard work celebrities put in to get the desired look or role right.

Added to this, there is the pressure to look dew drop fresh in every public appearance and are expected to answer even the stupidest of questions.

Shahrukh Khan these days is shooting for science-fiction cum superhero film Ra One, and has remarked that shooting for it has been a painful and gainful experience.

We think that it is painful because he has to work too hard for his role and gainful because this film will add more glamour and shine to his already rocking career.

Well we think that celebrities are blessed people. They have been smart enough to get all the name and fame and now it depends on them how to maintain it.

Shahrukh Khan on the verge of bankruptsy

Shahrukh Khan’s super-ambitious venture Ra.One seems to have taken a toll over the actor. So much so, full of optimism SRK is cribbing about the financial aspects of the film which has become a matter of concern for him as everything about the film comes at an exorbitant price.

SRK tweets on his mico-blogging account, “Huge blue screen...100 cars...cranes, wires...god! I am making a film beyond my means. I will be dancing on the streets to pay for all the bills.”

Well, SRK might have loset hopes when it comes to finanace but ‘dancing on the streets for all the bills’, he is surely still at his wittiest best.

King Khan concert postponed

The music show by Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan set for Sunday evening has been “postponed indefinitely,” the organisers have confirmed Saturday.

Mohamed Shizleen, who spoke on behalf of Inex Maldives and Arts Solutions, told Haveeru that the show was postponed on Khan’s request due to security issues in the capital Male. The show will be held a week after World Cup 2010 closing set for July 11, he added.

“The show is still planned to be held. But we decided [to postpone it] as Shah requested to postpone it for security reasons,” he said.

“[We] apologise for postponing the show.”

When asked about the security reasons, he said the recent series of gang violence and stabbings were to blame.

Police and personal bodyguards were set to manage Khan’s security.

Tickets already sold at Rf800 for general entry and Rf1,000 for VIP will be refunded, Shizleen added.

Khan was also absent from India’s prestigious AIFA Awards held in Sri Lanka last week.

US rapper Akon’s concert was earlier postponed indefinitely and the government took charge of the Boney M concert, which was also called off at the last minute by the initial organisers.

Shahrukh Khan: The secret wish!

Shahrukh Khan, the star of bollywood, who is as busy as a bee, makes it a point to spend quality time with his kids, even in the busiest of days.

Thus, when these days the star is busy with the making of his home production ‘RA ONE’, he makes sure to be around his kids inspite of being extremely exhausted.

So, recently, when Shahrukh’s son Aaryan, was quite in low spirits, as he has hurt himself, Shahrukh played the perfect dad. Aaryan, who has hurt his upper lip, was complaining about his wound, which looked like a moustache.

To liven his son’s spirits, SRK told him of his secret wish. King Khan, very sportingly told his son that there was a time when he wanted to grow a moustache, to look manlier. This sort of lifted Aaryan’s spirits and to be able to sport a moustache without having to grow one, was quite amusing for the little boy.

Well, Shahrukh has always been a doting dad, and this time too, he has tried to be just that. Recently, the Baadshah also had twittered about his time spent with his daughter in learning about some knot tying, which he miserably failed to learn properly.

Such little and simple things in life does have immense emotional values attached, and for a superstar like SRK, what more could he want, with as much material and emotional fulfillment being in abundance in his beautifully planned life?
