Kolkata Knight Riders are in trouble. Cricket Members Forum of Bengal had filed a case against Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) and Shahrukh Khan for early issuing of tickets.
According to Cricket Members Forum of Bengal, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has committed a crime by issuing free tickets to the spectators a month before the matches’ kick started. To the Cricket Members Forum of Bengal, CAB had made a mistake by distributing free tickets to the audience before issuing to the members. According to them, CAB had no right to hold any match at the Eden Garden before issuing free tickets to them. They had filed a case against CAB and Shahrukh for violating Rule 15 (ii).
"According to Rule-15 of CAB constitution all life members, associate members and affiliated members are supposed to get free tickets for all matches organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. We are 31,000 members and this match is not for any benevolent cause or charity. So, there is no reason why we will not get our free tickets," remarks, Cricket Members' Forum of Bengal Convener, Abhijit Sarkar.
