Come February and all SRK fans are going to be the happiest souls under the Sun. According to reports, ShahRukh has decided to come out with all his private life events and moments through the ‘Discovery Travel and Living’ and lay it on a platter for all those who care.

The climb to success is a tough one and so it has been for this bollywood Baadshah. Every emotional moment of his life has been captured according to the grapevine and the best part is that ShahRukh who has normally been shy about harping on his success story has finally come out to share it with the people who give so much adulation to him.

Lately, King Khan has gone on to reveal bits and pieces of his life at different events and thus he has managed to poke the inquisitive bone in every fan of his. Now, every one wants to know more abouthis life before he became a star. At a recent event he disclosed his love for Delhi and its oldest landmark, citing some family reasons, also adding that he was missing his family.

After that people have suddenly become more conscious about his life and thus it will be through this programme in Discovery where his fans will actually get to see the real secret that made such a man likeShahRukh. It will make people realize the abilities required to make a ShahRukh Khan!

The program is scheduled to be telecast from the 26th of February 2010 on Discovery Channel.

Shah Rukh Khan owns up to being a ladies man

Seated at a restaurant in London surrounded by some 10 women, including his wife Gauri, when Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh says that he "likes being with girls", you simply have to believe him.

"I don't have many boyfriends. I like being with girls, and probably that's why people think I'm a little girlish. But I don't have any such male bonding with anyone...," Shah Rukh said in the first episode of Discovery Travel & Living's upcoming series "Living With A Superstar - Shah Rukh Khan".

Most of Shah Rukh's closest friends are of the opposite sex - Kajol, Farah Khan, Juhi Chawla, Rani Mukerji and so on.

Among his best known male friends is filmmaker Karan Johar, with whom he has done many hit films like "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" and "Kabhie Alvida Naa Kehna". Shah Rukh's most awaited film of the year "My Name Is Khan" is also Johar's baby.

The new TV series "Living With A Superstar..." chronicles Shah Rukh in his real, day-to-day life. It aims at taking viewers into the private spaces of the 44-year-old, who is fondly known as King Khan by many of his fans and colleagues.

The 10-part series, which has Shah Rukh's voiceover, will go on air Feb 26 at 9 p.m. with a slice of his life from a family vacation in London.

He is seen taking a rickshaw ride on the street, cheering for a street performer, playing football with his children Aryan and Suhana at Hyde Park, bingeing on food, smoking, visiting Madame Tussaud's wax studio - and most of all just being himself.

In subsequent episodes, viewers can know about Shah Rukh's relationship with his children, wife, sister and friends, unique style of shooting, time management, interactions with fans and staff and about his house Mannat.

The series, jointly produced by Shah Rukh's Red Chillies Entertainment and Blue Mango Films, is the biggest ever by the channel, according to Rahul Johri, senior vice president and general manager, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific.

"This is the biggest thing we have done. We have shot in Dubai, San Jose, San Francisco, London, Mumbai, New Delhi, we had been following Shah Rukh wherever he went since March 2009 and he gave us complete access," Johri told the media, without divulging the investment made for it.

The series will have eight repeats in a week, justifying the fan following that Shah Rukh commands across the globe.

ShahRukh Khan: Dance Saga

Come this Saturday and there will be the big Awards night which is going to be held in Mumbai. These Awards are the ‘Chevrolet Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards Function’, to be held in the Chitrakoot Grounds in Andheri.

The good news is that ShahRukh Khan is scheduled to perform that night with a line of other stars also to perform at the same event.

According to insiders there are performances to be given by Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor,

Arshad Warsi, Vidya Balan etc.

The producer’s guild awards will have thirty different categories of Awards in various categories and there are performances by popular TV stars too on the glitterati night.

As is known ShahRukh has not performed for a long time and this event is going to be a very special one for his fans who have been desperate to see the actor performing live.

ShahRukh had recently come in his friend Karan Johar’s show ‘Lift Kara De’ where he very kindly donated to a family with children needing medical attention, but were not able to do so due to lack of funds.

Shah Rukh MY NAME IS KHAN has Duncan as US President Obama!

Shah Rukh Khan, the Badshah of bollywood who plays Rizwan Khan in Karan Johar’s upcoming film ‘My Name Is Khan’ opposite ravishing Kajol, does not meet the original US President Barack Obama but his impersonator Christopher Duncan.

As it was almost impossible to arrange a real meeting with the US President and to shoot that sequence for his film, Karan Johar decided to use a US actor who was famous for his impersonation of the first black President. In fact, Duncan had already impersonated Obama in popular US shows like Jay Leno and The Jammie Foxx. It was for this sequence that Karan Johar had sought the permission of US security agencies to allow him to shoot on the lawns of White House.

Fortunately for Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar, they were allowed to shoot the sequence and became the first bollywood producer to do so. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan sets out to meet the US president as he believes that it would help him win the love of his life.

Kajol, the gorgeous actress who sizzled with Shah Rukh Khan in movies like ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, plays Khan’s love interest in the film. She is a single parent in the film who falls for Shah Rukh Khan due to his charming ways and peculiar conditions.

Shah Rukh Khan’s character of Rizwan Khan suffers from a rare disease of Asperger and has problems in interacting with people. As the film has been set in the post 9/11 New York, the security agencies at an airport in the US apprehend him for questioning and humiliate him.

It is during these interrogations that Shah Rukh Khan delivers the memorable lines of ‘My name is Khan. But I am not a terrorist’. As the US security agencies were suspecting him of being one of the terrorists due to his peculiar diseased condition and surname Khan.

The film is being distributed by Fox star, which expects it to do very well at the box office. Sources say that they have bought the film for a whopping Rs 100 crore and would like to recover as fast as they could from the box office. The movie is due for a world wide release on Valentine day in February.

‘My Name Is Khan’ is very important film for Shah Rukh Khan and could change the course of his bollywood career. This is especially so after Aamir Khan’s ‘3 Idiots’ broke all previous box office records. Now, pressure is on Shah Rukh Khan to show some bigger result with this release, if he wants to maintain his numero uno position in bollywood.
