The special episode of ‘Music Ka Mahamuqabla’ on Star Plus witnessed ample skin-show courtesy Shahrukh Khan who took off his shirt and flaunted his bare chest to the cameras and the ecstatically screaming fans among the audiences.

The superstar along with director Karan Johar was promoting their upcoming film My Name Is Khan on the music reality show in which all the contestants paid tribute to SRK by singing songs from his films only.

What we learn from the goss that has trickled out from the sets is that when the song ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ from SRK’s hit film Om Shanti Om played, the superstar got up on a table and danced and, further rooted by the audience, took off his shirt and flashed his abs.

That doubtlessly was the high-point of the show which will be telecast on the coming Saturday.

Well, a few weeks back SRK had joked that he wants to be a pornstar. Now, he takes off his shirt on national television.

What next, SRK!

MOVIE PREVIEW: My Name Is Khan

MY NAME IS KHAN is an upcoming Bollywood film based upon a true story. Directed by Karan Johar, it is jointly made under Johar's Dharma Productions and Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment banner, which is produced by Kjo's mother Hiroo Yash Johar and SRK's wife Gauri Khan.

It has a screenplay by Shibani Bathija, and stars Shahrukh Khan & Kajol. Others include Jimmy Shergill & Parvin Dabbas. The musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy composed the film's score.

The film is slated for 12th February 2010 release. Shahrukh Khan signed a deal for 1 billion INR with Fox Studios, who will market and distribute the film in India (FOXSTAR) and worldwide (Fox Searchlight).

Synopsis:

My Name Is Rizwan Khan

I might seem a little different to you. This is because I have Aspergers Syndrome. It is named after Dr. Hans Asperger who first noticed the traits in children. Despite protests from his family they get married and start a small business together. They are happy until September 11, 2001 when attitudes towards muslims undergo a sea-change. When tragedy strikes, Mandira is devastated and they split. Rizvan is confused and very upset that the love of his life left him. To win her back, he embarks on a touching and inspiring journey across America.

Shahrukh Khan 'Knights' the Bond

Before the headline makes you scratch your head let's clear the air, Shahrukh Khan hasn't been offered any role in the upcoming spy flick nor is he meeting Daniel Craig any time soon. It's rather a story from the cricketing world, Shahrukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders have roped in New Zealand speed star Shane Bond for the upcoming IPL season for a whopping $750,000 after getting locked in a tie-breaker with Deccan Chargers Hyderabad.

Shahrukh Khan was delighted with the KKR team roping in Shane Bond. In his Twitter post on the roping in Shane Bond Shahrukh wrote “v wanted Bond & it feels nice to have a bond in your team in more ways than one...to leave last yr behind & march to the podium Insha Allah.” The My Name Is Khan star would be hoping that the New Zealander's would play a pivotal role in turning the fortune of Kolkata Knight Riders after having faced humiliation last year.

Shahrukh Khan's IPL Bargain!

It was a day of much flurry and activity in Mumbai yesterday, 19th of Jan’10, when the much hyped and glittering IPL auction season 3 of the players took place. This auction which is one strategy used to buy players for the IPL high end cricket league. This is one high defined tournament initiated by the business tycoon Lalit Modi. Shahrukh Khan jointly owns The Kolkata Knight Riders along with Juhi Chawla and her husband Jai Mehta.

Shahrukh Khan and Juhi couldn’t make it to the auction but they were represented by Juhi’s husband Jai Mehta. The KKR team has gone on to buy the Right- Arm Pacer Shane Bond. The Deccan Chargers were also bidding for the same player making it a tie but eventually the KKR team won him over and he was bought for 3.41 crores even though rumours have it that the bidding has gone higher than that which could be as high as $1.3 million US. It seems Shahrukh was a bit skeptical in buying players this time around as he had stated a few days ago. According to reports the criteria most looked into while buying the players was the availability of the player as and when required. Thus, Shahrukh and his team had got the best catch in the bowling segment.

Even though Shahrukh himself was not available for comment his partner and co-owner of the team Jai Mehta said that they would like the game to be popular in non traditional countries also thus making the IPL one of the worlds most followed and popularcricket leagues. Well, whatever be the case if reports are to be believed Shahrukh has made it his responsibility to see that this year his team gives in their best for the prestigious league. Shahrukh has probably got the best bargain available say some experts!
