Shahrukh Khan's “Director’s Cut”

Superstar Shahrukh Khan recently put up a list of directors from bollywood with whom he would like to work in the future. It might be a dream for a lot of directors to sign the King Khan, but some of them have made it the list of fame.

The question though arises when one realizes that Shahrukh had been approached by all these directors but backed out of the projects himself, except for one.

The list comprises of Vishal Bhardwaj, Mani Ratnam, Raju Hirani, and Anuraag, though it is not clear whether Shahrukh was talking about Basu or Kashyap. “Would love to work with Vishal (Bhardwaj), Anurag (Kashyap or Basu), Mani (Ratnam) sir, Raju (Hirani), and so many other gifted directors. But we have to have something which suits us all,” tweeted the actor.

Interestingly, kKhan turned down the offers of all of these directors in the past, except for Mani Ratam, with whom he did “Dil Se”.

With Vishal, shahrukh was supposed to do a film, which was cancelled after the duo had a fall out regarding a change in the script that the actor suggested. It is common knowledge that with Raju Hirani, Shahrukh was supposed to portray Munnabhai’s character, but had to back out due to his back problems.

Though it is not clear whether Shahrukh was talking about Anurag Kashyap or Anuraag Basu, he was recently linked with Kashyap’s upcoming Bombay trilogy.
