Amitabh Bachchan does a cameo for Shah Rukh’s ‘RNBDJ’

It seems that Shah Rukh and Amitabh have begun a mutual admiration society (Is something burning, Salman?). If you remember, Shah Rukh did a cameo in Amitabh’s film ‘Bhootnath’ and now Big B will be seen in a cameo role in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. In the film, Amitabh will be seen playing a judge of a reality show that will have middle-aged Shah Rukh and his young wife Anoushka as participants.

‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi,’ seems a bit like the side-track in ‘Aaja Nachle’, where Vinay Pathak gains respect and love of his wife through a theatre/dance sequence. According to sources, in the film, Shah Rukh will be seen as simple middle-aged man with a vivacious young wife, who wants some action in life. SRK overhears her expressing the wish and he feels sorry for her.

He goes for a makeover and enters new-age SRK, with a Gen X look. He partners his wife in a reality-show although the wife remains unaware of this. Only towards the end, Anoushka comes to know that her partner is none other than her husband and she falls in love with her husband all over again.

The story-line sounds interesting, choreography by Shaimak Davar is bound to be good and Big B’s cameo would certainly add to the attraction of the film.
