Shah Rukh is gearing up for his next home production that will be a superhero flick. Sources reveal that it will be an out-and-out fantasy-adventure that will cater to the kids and family audiences.
However, SRK's story won't have mythology as its backdrop. It's very modern.
Sources reveal that the film is tentatively titled Ra. It will have state-of-the-art special effects. Even though details of the project are still sketchy, sources claim the film will use Hollywood technicians and visual-effect supervisors on the movie.
The actor's son Aryan and his friends are huge fans of super hero movies and Ra is being made keeping this group of audience in mind. Aryan loved Krrish, after which Shah Rukh admitted that he wanted to make a superhero film.
It is believed Shah Rukh will also be involved in the script writing process. "Usually he doesn't meddle with the script or suggest changes. But with this film, he is planning to sit with his team and be part of the script writing. He wants to make sure the film carries his vision from start to end." As a part of research and homework on the project, SRK has started watching sci-fi and action adventure films with his kids and their friends.
"Shah Rukh attended the Drona premiere because he wanted to watch the film and gauge the audience reactions as well. Since he's making a film with a superhero in the lead, he wanted to find out how other filmmakers were handling the genre."
The film goes on the floors next year.
