ICICI launches Global Indian Account with SRK>
Shah Rukh Khan, brand ambassador of ICICI, attended a press event to announce the launch of the bank's Global Indian Account, at the Grand Hyatt, Kalina, Mumbai Friday, April 4.
He wore a blue silk tuxedo jacket with shawl collar over a V Neckline black Tee.
His side parted hair, with deep brown highlights, looked tidy, befitting the nature of the client he was endorsing. He looked suave but still filmi.
In the past we have seen him a lot more filmi, squinting through long bangs falling over his forehead.
He did not look gawky either and finally we were glad to see him not smoking!
The Global Indian Account facility is aimed at the banking needs of Indians moving to UK, US and Canada. The customers can fulfill the documentation formalities for their bank account, debit card and internet banking before departing India.
Shah Rukh will be traveling abroad to promote the concept among his NRI fans.
A bonafide ICICI credit card user himself, Shah Rukh had lost his card in February. It was recovered when three men splurged on clothes at Shopper's Stop at Nirmal Lifestyle in Mulund, Mumbai and then produced his card to pay for the Rs 25,000/- charge.
Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan replaced Amitabh Bachchan as the brand ambassador for ICICI bank in January 2006.
