If not SRK, who'll do Shankar's Robot ?

It is now almost certain that this Shah Rukh Khan and top South Indian director Shankar's combination derailed even before it took off.

Post the stupendous success of Rajnikant starrer, Sivaji , Bollywood Badshah was excited about working with director Shankar and even came forward to produce Shankar's next film – Robot, a scientific thriller, when Shankar shared with him the plotline.

Three months later, the film is called off as differences between Shankar and Shah Rukh erupted beyond reconciliation.

Sources claim it was the lack of a proper script that failed to convince Shah Rukh. Hence the two shook hands amicably and parted ways.

Shankar has now two options – to approach another Bollywood hero with the financial support from Adlabs (they have an agreement with Shankar for a film) or do what he is best at: making a Tamil/Telugu bilingual.

On other hand, Shah Rukh Khan will be doing his good friend Karan Johar's ambitious film titled My Name Is Khan , a film about an Indian Muslim caught in legal problems in New York due to his religion.

Shah Rukh was supposed to be a part of Raj Kumar Hirani's film soon after Om Shanti Om but he backed out, due to indifferences that may have arisen between Vidhu Vinod Chopra and him.

SRK would have been a good choice for the movie. Let us hope that they would work togeather in some other movie. I have written a (suggested) script for the movie Robot in my Blog. Do read and give your comments.
