No anger towards Salman: Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan have still not ironed out their differences even though it’s been a little less than two years since the two almost came to blows at the birthday party of Katrina Kaif.

People in the industry anticipated that with time the two Khans would let bygones be bygones and shake hands for another round of friendship, just like they had done at Farah Khan’s sangeeth ceremony a few years back. But there’s no end in sight to the chill between SRK and Salman.

Now, in a latest interview to a news daily, SRK candidly admits that he doesn’t speak to Salman and that the two have not yet settled out their differences.

But SRK does go on to add that he has no anger towards Salman.

“No, I don’t speak with Salman...But it’s not animosity, it’s not anger, and it’s not disturbing,” SRK is quoted to have said.

Salman, too, has said in the past that he and SRK can’t be friends though they are not enemies.

Khan spoils Munnabhai's America trip

The lovable goon Munnabhai and his funny sidekick Circuit were all set to pack their bags and fly to the US for some Munnagiri but their plan has been put into deep freeze by a certain Mr. Khan pre-empting them in spreading the message of love, peace and tolerance in My Name Is Khan.

Director Rajkumar Hirani and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra had ambitiously announced the third Munnabhai film ‘Munna Bhai Chale Amerika’ right after the release of Lage Raho Munna Bhai. They had even come up with a teaser of the third film in which Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi were shown learning English for their American trip.

The film was set to roll by the end of this year. But then came ‘My Name Is Khan’ in which Shahrukh Khan as the moderate Muslim did all that Munnabhai was supposed to do in the US. Consequently, the film’s director Rajkumar Hirani and writer Abhijat Joshi are now forced to change the script of ‘Munna Bhai Chale Amerika’.

Sanjay Dutt, who will again play the eponymous hero, confirmed that the film’s script is being redone because of similarity with ‘My Name Is Khan’. Dutt says the third Munnabhai film will now roll in April next year.

Shahrukh makes fun of good friend Karan Johar

Trust Karan Johar for his whimsical ways. Recently, the fashion freak went to an imaginable extent!

It so happened that Karan Johar, who is absolutely careful about being presentable, had a bit of a case when the fire alarm went off at 2 am in his hotel in New York.

He narrated the entire episode on his twitter account, "The fire alarm in my hotel went off...what was scary was the visual of everyone in the lobby in their sleep gear without make up."

Now, when good friend Shahrukh Khan came across this tweet, he couldn't help take a dig at this observation and at once replied, "I am sure you were the only one still well turned out. You must be also having a wardrobe for fire alarm emergencies in hotels."

We know that Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri, who both grew up in Delhi, were pretty much childhood sweethearts. But the question remained, where exactly did they first meet? Well, the answer's out now. And it's been revealed by SRK himself!

Shah Rukh is given to having quick question and answer sessions with his followers on Twitter. And to a question posed today (May 11) he answered, "Met Gauri at those school parties where girls & boys sat in opposite corners & asked each other for a dance."

We can just imagine how cute it might have been! And as they grew older and the relationship grew more serious, what did Shah Rukh's mom feel about it? "My mom loved Gauri," he wrote. Apparently, Gauri's family had some reservations about SRK (his choosing acting as a profession was supposed to be a factor). But ultimately, the couple were married with everyone's blessings. And now we know how it all began for them!

Why is Shah Rukh Khan unable to answer nature’s call?

Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting round the clock for Ra.One. The problem is that he has to wear a tight rubber superhero costume in Mumbai’s soaring heat.

To make matters worse poor SRK can’t even answer nature's call while shooting as taking off and putting on the skintight costume is an onerous task. He is often heard joking with the cast and crew on the set and not forbidding them from visit the loo. If he can't go, they couldn't either.

Shahrukh Khan The injured action hero of bollywood!

Shahrukh Khan, who is right now the one-man show for his home production ‘RA One’, is all injured, physically and mentally.

First, the high action drama in his flick is straining enough or the star on his physical health. Due to multiple injuries in shoulders, knees, neck and then his nagging backache, he has been so much drained, that it is reportedly affecting his production plans as well.

The star had had some differences of opinion with his director, Anubhav Sinha too, who was not able to understand what SRK’s point of view was regarding a certain scene.

The ugly scene happened when the director had gone to visit SRK at his home ‘Mannat’, when he was in bed rest. Reportedly, it took quite some time for Shahrukh to finally convince the director to see his point of view.

All this has taken a toll on SRK’s health, and he has also twittered about something like people who are working with him, are hard to convince, especially, “when they are not on a different page but, reading a different book altogether”

UNQUOTE- What if we advice SRK, to take some time off and just relax his over taxed brains a bit? Will SRK pay heed? We wonder!

Shahrukh Khan, who is one of the most nonchalant stars in real life, is an absolute delight in his micro blogging site twitter.

Every now and then, the star has something new for his fans on his twitter.

Be it his nagging pain in his shoulder, back or even the recently started knee pain, or even his desire to do more romantic flicks, or even his daily routine while on a shoot, it is all there for his millions of fans, ready to lap up every bit of news that they can get of him.

Recently, the star went on to send a sweet message on the twitter, to his buddy Hrithik Roshan. The message went like “I send you peace my friend. A piece of love….a piece of success and a large piece of life, love and light to you in abundance”.

Shahrukh Khan, who has worked with Hrithik in Karan Johar’s flick ‘Kabhi Khushi Khabhi Gham’, has always been like an elder brother to Hrithik. Many a times, Hrithik has gone on to say how much he respects King Khan, and in the film too, Shahrukh played the part of his elder brother, and boy, the two did rock on screen.

I wanted Shahrukh’s films to flop: Gauri Khan

She is someone whose husband has the whole nation wrapped around his little finger while she has him eating out of the palm of her hand. She is a television and a film producer. She plays a Queen to her husband, the ‘King of Bollywood’. She is a closet interior decorator and a super mom and is also a style icon for women across India. Appearing as a guest on Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s show, Gauri Khan spills some beans on her hubby.

You and Shahrukh Khan are totally self-made. Isn’t it an incredible high to achieve so much at such a young age ?

“Absolutely, it’s amazing and we thank god every day for whatever we have but I think Shahrukh is extremely hard working so he deserves every bit of it.”

Were you really the rock, the pillar behind Shahrukh ?

Actually that’s not true because I was not too happy about him coming to Bombay and I didn’t even know when he became a star. It was very shocking for me firstly to be here and films and everything. It was very difficult. And I actually did not want his films to do well. I thought if it flopped I should go back to Delhi.

“He (Shah Rukh) was always ambitious. He always topped in school and college, whether it be as a student; in football, in hockey, in theatre ... everything. For me, whatever he would touch would turn into gold. I was smart to marry him. I think that’s my smartness that I chose the right guy.”

You and Shahrukh met quiet early almost in the teens ...

“Yes he was the first person I met and went out with and he has been the only man.”

In India Shahrukh has done almost everything and it would be wonderful if he goes to Hollywood. Comment?

“If today he says I don’t want to act and be just a director or producer I’ll be fine with whatever he’s happy with. I’d rather have him with kids; spend more time at home that would be better for me.”

Is it true that you and Shahrukh had to fight to be together?

“Yes my parents were obviously not for it because we were so young and then to take a decision to get married to a person who was going to join films and being from a different religion. We even changed his name to ‘Abhinav’ so that they feel he was a Hindu boy and that was really silly and childish.”

How did you make the decision to leave everything behind in Delhi and follow the man of your dream ?

“It’s been an amazing journey I would say. When I came to Bombay everything was new, life was very different, new people and new home but I enjoyed every bit of it. But we used to visit Delhi very often in the beginning.”

Where did you put up in the early days in Bombay ?

“Mr. Aziz Mirza - we stayed at his place for 6 months. It was very sweet of him and then we rented an apartment and there was nothing. My mom came from Delhi and there was no bed there, no sofa, no chair, just a kitchen. She was shocked to see me like that. She said, ‘Why don’t you have a bed? Where is the chair?’ So I said, ‘This is the ‘Gadda’ (mattress) sleep on this’.”

Do you remember the date Shahrukh bought you the first diamond ?

“I bought it myself! I grabbed it actually. I’m quite a grabber. He doesn’t have to gift me anything.”

What’s the one thing you love doing together?

“Watching desperate house wives. He loves to watch that with me.”

Do you miss the earlier days, the simple times?

Shahrukh said, “No I don’t miss them. People ask me this question very often but I don’t miss going and having ‘chaat’ in ‘Gol Market’, I’ve never wanted to eat pav bhaji on Chaupatty either. I’m very happy being a star. I love what comes with it. I also appreciate the hard work I have to do for it and I don’t want to wear dark glasses to hide from the world that I’m a superstar and I really enjoy it.”

Shah Rukh Khan praises Arjun

Arjun Rampal who recently joined Anubhav Sinha’s ‘ Ra.One ’ has been getting a lot of praises from his colleagues including King Khan.

It is believed that Arjun plays an important role in Shah Rukh Khan’s first superhero film ‘ Ra.One ’. According to a unit hand Arjun’s character and action has been designed very stylishly, so much so that there’s no one on the set not raving about the star.

King Khan himself admitted that Arjun’s presence on the sets makes a lot of difference. Speaking about Arjun he says, “Arjun makes the action look so good. Arjun looks awesome in the film. I am scared of his wife my dear friend. If he doesn’t look good Meher will beat me up so have to make sure.”

Arjun reverted to Shah Rukh saying “Thank you, it is always a pleasure to work with you....having too much fun. This action will be memorable. We both are badly bruised.”

Well seems like Arjun and Shah Rukh are fighting yet bonding on the sets of the film!

SRK is Vidya’s lucky mascot

Vidya Malavade, who turned in a decent performance in Kabir Sadanand’s recent flick Tum Milo Toh Sahi, has suddenly decided to let the world know that Shah Rukh Khan is her lucky mascot.

Guess using the Bollywood superstar’s name will ensure that smart Vidya gets one more item printed in the media. Anyway all is fair as far as publicity goes. Vidya says that before she got Chak De India she shot for an ad with SRK. Recently, she shot again with SRK for a TV Show and the next day she signed Take 2 and Tigmanshu Dhulia’s next with Govinda. “All thanks to SRK... he is my lucky mascot,” is what Vidya tells anyone who will care to listen. “I simply love SRK, he has always been lucky for me. I should meet him more often,” says Vidya.
